BARBARA BICKMORE wrote her first short story at seven and has been writing ever since. Her dream to become a published writer came true when EAST OF THE SUN was published in 1988. Great Read - Page-Turner

I really enjoyed this book. It was not only historically interesting, but the characters were interesting. I couldn't put the book down, I had to keep reading to see what would happen next. Normally, I am a slow reader, but I read this book within a couple of days. Would recommend it to anyone. Would like to find more books of this type about Australia.

Beautifully Written, Left me anxious for next B.B. book!!

Absolutely the best book I have ever read. I couldn't put it down. ( My first book written by Barbara Bickmore). I've passed it on to seven friends and we are all looking forward to the newest novel. We have since all read every word of each book!! Thank-you for such a pleasant and "dreamy" form of entertainment!
